These posters I designed during the 1970s for concerts at the famous AWHQ in Austin, Texas. These are the armadillos which managed to circulate around the world and helped establish Austin as a Music Capitol by giving visual evidence that there was intellectual life in the Heart of Texas. Other artists were attracted to Austin by some of these works and we became a group, churning out wild and crazy images.
