JJ Cale played a guitar with the back removed, a nice place for an armadillo nap. Sam Chatman wrote "Sittin on top of the world" back in the 1920s.
Bill Livingood and I opened and ran the Ritz Theater on Sixth Street in Austin in 1975, right before the street became the happening place it is today. I guess we kicked it off.
